We need to be fair - we arrived right after school let out and so there were a ton of kids - and Sadie, a really fun dog who is 11 and love treats. It was a pretty noisy visit.

To be honest, though, that's not a bad thing. We love seeing kids in the library doing their various things - chitchatting, reading, doing homework, etc. It's one of the things libraries are there for.  That doesn't mean it makes for a great place to work, however. The lack of study rooms and the presence of a bunch of kids make it a little hard to concentrate.

But no matter, visit this library in the late afternoon to get a full blast of how loud and fun and library can be for its patrons! Among the many highlights of this snug neighborhood library - and there are many! - is the community scarf project. I knitted a few stitches myself. It was fun!
